Verne Weed Collection for Progressive Social Work, 1940-1980.

Gill papers, Sol Gorelick papers, Jack Kamaiko papers, Lon Levitt papers, Harold Lewis papers, Philip Lichtenberg papers, Elizabeth Most papers, Fred Newdom papers, and the Marilyn Tadlock papers. Of particular interest among the Jack Kamaiko papers is the controversy over segregated facilities of the United Seamen's Service in New Orleans in the 1940s and Kamaiko's subsequent fight for U.S. citizenship, and among the Elizabeth Most papers is the controversy over her political activites and hence her employment as a faculty member at the University of West Florida in the 1970s.
